My bet is that no Ubuntu Dev types send emails with Photos (or tried to teach their Grandma how to do it). Where is Gwenview that has Kipi Plugins where Kipi is a dependency (installs with Gwenview). Oh - where is the old Gwenview, it is much better than the new one hands down.
