Agreed. You can use rsync for bidirectional, just as stated. Simply supply run something like the following:

rsync -auz /src/foo host2:/dest
rsync -auz host2:/dest/foo /src

Run these both from host1. Of course, if you want a pretty GUI tool, rsync isn't that.
