Ubuntu is Linux turned into Vista... Mandriva also have his defects, but I think it's easier to use than S***buntu... (for example, Ubuntu's Gnome or Ubuntu's KDE4 are much more feature limited than in Mandriva...)
p.s: I'm not a KDE fanboy, I'm an Enlightenment user.
