Hi I'm the author of FSlint. Thanks for the review!
It's quite ironic that the article discusses manually installing fslint, which I consider adding lint to a system :)
The fslint homepage linked above has instructions for installing packages on most linux distributions (including suse).
There are also thirdparty packages available for gentoo and arch linux at least.
Note official ubuntu/debian packages always lag behind a bit as it's ridiculously slow to get packages updated through debian (mentors).
