I also use GNUCash on Kubuntu as a substitute for Microsoft Money. I am able to download transactions using OFX from my UK Nationwide account. I had to recompile GNUCash per the instructions on their wiki (see 'installing Gnucash on debian' i think) to include the acbanking module. Then set up per the wiki and other instructions around the web. I can also import transactions using qif, csv etc where my bank allows me to export transactions. It was a pain to setup but everything is working in the same way as Money, which is great!
