I used to use Quicken also and was one of the main reason I kept a windows partition around. I tried all of the other open source like gnucash and what not. Few years ago I came across a program called MoneyDance and absolutely love it. It runs on linux, windows or macs. Only down size is it isn't free but that wasn't a problem since I was used to purchasing quicken. It is cheap (around $30.00) and I think you will like it. I do all my finances on it.
