QGIS earns a spot on GIS software map

As a QGIS user since version 0.7 something I'm very happy to see the software get more and more media coverage. It really is a good system for the money (free).

*QGIS is even more functional for geospatial analysis when used in tandem with GRASS (http://grass.itc.it) via QGIS' grass plug-ins. This takes care of the select by location function missing in QGIS.
*The open source world, not just QGIS developers, really needs a way of importing or working with MrSID image files. Perhaps the GIS equivalent of Fluendo mp3 codecs?
*While Carson Farmer deserves a medal for his plug-ins, QGIS seriously needs some simpler analysis extensions than R for spatial stats and PostgreSQL for a database backend. These requirements make the QGIS learning curve quite high compared to ArcGIS.
