go to the sierrawireless website and search for linux - they have both gsm and cdma usb cards. since there's no pcmcia slot, it will have to be a usb one. they have a list of linux compatible products. i got a compatible gsm usb sierra card from ebay and put an at&t data card in in and with minimal changes to the pppd script, it works just fine. using it right now.
