Don't forget the other Tux4Kids programs - Tux Math and Tux Typing

The other two tux4kids apps are alive and well at http://www.tux4kids.com. They are geared toward slightly older kids, but can be used as soon as kids become interested in recognizing characters and finding them on the keyboard. The three programs are loosely tied together by the character of Tux, as well as overlapping contributors. Tux Paint is certainly the most polished of the three, but we have also put a lot of effort into the others in the last two years or so. TuxMath is how my daughter learned her multiplication tables in a completely fun way as a second grader. Bill Kendrick and Sam Hart deserve a lot of credit for getting these great programs started.
