All of the *lets run inside a desktop. Not all desktops will run this or any other of the *lets out of the box, which in fairness should have been mentioned in the article. Using Fluxbox on an Ubuntu machine I get a "no module named gnomekeyring" when I try to run screenlets-menu. I'll try it on Enlightenment tonight, and see if there is a screenlets forum and possibly a solution has been posted.
