"Oh, you finally came across Kubuntu???"

Thoughtless and unnecessary

"This is just some details, the list goes on. I don't want to say Mandriva is the best, and that everything works. What I want to say is that all the Ubuntu/Kubuntu fanboys without a clue make me sick! Instead of trolling the net, why don't you actually try some other distros first?"

Also, thoughtless and unnecessary.

Both distro's are fantastic, so why bash each other? Ive tried both and will still stick with Ubuntu for a number of my own reasons. Each distro is unique and each tailors to different audiences with different needs. Each has its own philosophy and ways of doing things. Each has a uniquely large and vibrant community. Inciting hate really has no place in the Linux world, and is counter to the idea of Open Standards, where common sense dictates that close cooperation should be everyones ultimate goal.
