Install then enable it, download lame, or any other conversion engine you want, set up the rates and you are done. I use it to convert from OGG (Q7-8) on the computer to MP3 (256 VBR) on my SD card to plug into my HD TV. It does take some tweaking, but integrated means it is easy to use. It also means you don't have to search for the song, just drag it to the device and it transcodes.
