sSMTP: A simple alternative to Sendmail

Hardly a sendmail replacement when its designed for use on desktop machines by single users.

To quote the author:

"Replacing Sendmail with sSMTP works well for desktop PCs that have only a single user configured. If you have multiple users, you may not want to use sSMTP"

Yeah. Good one, idiot.

Anything touted as a sendmail replacement needs to support things like advanced mail routing and rewriting, ssl, tls, and sasl, for a start.
