Usenet newsreaders for Linux

I hate to say this because I do almost everything under Linux and can't stand using that other OS but I have yet to find any USENET reader that can compare to NewsRover under Windows (http://www.newsrover.com/). It is the only software I run by choice that isn't open source. If pan or some other Linux based USENET client would add something like NewsRover's autoscan feature I would almost certainly switch but I haven't found anything close.
