How did Steve Ballmer get in here? Seriously, it's not about "forcing someone to give up their livelyhood," it's about working together to create interoperability. I don't see why this isn't a good thing for Microsoft. Now I can have a Windows computer and a Linux computer work together better. I mean, I only use GNU/Linux, but I have a few clients who use both. What's the alternative? For them, it's to just dump Windows. Does Microsoft want this? This deal is _good_ for Windows.
