Manage your music tags with EasyTag and Picard

I would be very careful using EasyTag. I found that there was a quite nasty bug in EasyTag, that would actually delete (or perhaps corrupt) your ID3 tags. I found that each time I modified a group of files in EasyTag, Rhythm box would mysteriously lose sight of some (not all) of the modified tracks, replaced with an "unknown" track.

I think the lesson I learn't is whatever id3 tagger you use, make sure you test it on a group of tracks first, and make sure all your music software can still see your tracks before you commit to using it.

Incidentally I later moved to using ExFalso, which is (in my opinion) powerful, easy to use, and lightweight, i.e. isn't trying to be an all singing dancing queen, *cough* Amarok *cough*.
