Older? Really? According to Wikipedia, Tremulous was released in 2005. The first version of AA came out in 2004. Also, I never really liked Tremulous, because I felt the learning curve was about as steep as a cliff, and as fun as jumping off of one. Alien Arena is, IMO, easier to pick up and play, especially if you have any previous experience with deathmatch games like Quake.
