Firefox extensions for tab addicts

Galeon did a cool thing I'd like to see in FireFox -- shortened tab names intelligently by dropping internal vowels, etc. Very readable, but still saved lots of space.

Also, I liked that (iirc) both Galeon and K-meleon colored tabs that were still loading red, and ones which had loaded but were yet unread blue. Perhaps I have the detail wrong, but the idea I'm sure is understandable anyhow!

Anyone know of extentions which do either of these things for Firefox?
