GNU/Linux distro for women? Why not?

Disclaimer: I'm another guy, but - It's easier for me to imagine a forum or some kind of discussion group by and for women being useful than a particular linux distro. Package managers, desktop environments, etc. tend to be about technical issues, whereas the phenomenon the author discusses around gender tend to be social.

Having said that, Gentoo, like almost all the other distros, is one whose forums I wouldn't bother worth. Even assuming one never gets sucked into it, the infighting creates too much noise to signal.
