Sorry, but no. I'm a relatively sensitive guy and all, but I don't suffer from the notion that females are delicate flowers who need our protection.
The solution isn't to create a female-specific development ghetto, but for the community at large to tell those male members who cross over the line to misogyny to take a hike, no matter what their skills or contributions.
Most women I know don't need a sheltered community to protect their fragile selves from big, mean, men. That notion is just as demeaning as the crude comments and puppydog come-ons.
Women don't need their own free software community - they need the community at large to adjust it's f*cking attitude.
GNU/Linux distro for women? Why not?
