How do you know the updates solved a problem? Because someone said they did? And is it a serious problem? I don't know the ins and outs of my system a well as the people who created it, but I also know that when you throw thousands of packages together and change a few just a bit there could be problems. You're lucky you haven't had any problems, but that doesn't mean no one else has. Don't be a lemming.
