I am fairly new to linux and have stayed with simply MEPIS from the start. I have it on a laptop and a desktop. Only one really bad experiendce (maybe someone can help me resolve it). Some recent update dis something that makes Bibletime unable to add books tro its book shelf - or even connect with it's server. Or maybe that problem came from somewhere else. It onlyh affects the desktop.
Anyway, I'm glad for the discussion. I think what I might do is set up another partition and run all the updates on one, but onnly stable updates on the other.
