Developing for Linux is several orders of magnitude more difficult than simply testing features.
Part of the problem is the ever-changing API, but that is beginning to change.
As an aside, Linux.com developers please use <a href="http://us.php.net/nl2br">nl2br()</a> to make the otherwise bearable comment interface more user-friendly.
