I will certainly agree that Pan is an excellent and versatile news program that
should be able to suit anyone's needs -- except for one drawback (but it's a very
big drawback): Pan cannot as yet post binary attachments.
Most people who frequent Usenet to download binary files will also upload them.
It is the universal principle of sharing. But with Pan, only downloading attachments
is currently possible.
Hopefully, in the near future this shortcoming will be corrected.
But in spite of this major inadequacy, it is difficult to ignore Pan because
its overall superb features and ease of use remain a tremendous attraction.
