It also happens to have an implementation of "unusable by default". Go figure how much that "default" is worth if nobody's going to use bare basesystem.

Thanks, I prefer my ALT Linux 2.4 systems to just apt/cron updates in after doing that by hand for a few years on previous 2.x.
