If M$ were serious about producing the best technology possible and which their customers should have a right to expect they'ld be producing their own version of Linux or BSD or other Unix by now. This is what I'ld expect from a company dedicated to software and innovation which is how they like to be seen, but they seem more interested in money grabbing and manoeuvring (well, for a long time already).
