Smoothwall Review

While I liked the article, and investigated Smoothwall a few years ago, I found the updates and improvements slow to come. I therefore ened up using IPCOP (, a fork of Smoothwall, that I like much better. It has the automatic updates, and includes a number of free add-on utilities. I've been running it on an old PC (125Mhz) with DansGuadian content filtering for the kids, and it does a great job.
