NFS indeed sucks

The "NFS sucks" speech brought up something quite important. If they all suck, why isn't there one single non-sucking networked filesystem around for Linux users? I know designing and implementing such are hard tasks but perhaps someone should do them to make Linux a dream platform for many uses.
