I am an adherent of the Eric Harrison / Jim McQuillan philosophy of using, and re-using, technology. As a user of LTSP and especially K12LTSP for the last three years, I can say that it is one of the best tools for computer-aided classroom instruction that I've seen in a long time. I'm an educator in a K-12 environment, and I'm wondering why *everyone* isn't using this to some degree, especially after that Microsoft audit threat (my district was threatened in this way as well).
It's a shame that, in so many school districts, there's such a negative attitude toward "anything but Microsoft". These districts could benefit hugely from this wonderful tool. I've seen kids in front of K12LTSP thin clients, and they're eating it up!
K12LTSP totally rocks
