If 10 people comprise a company to shake and bake the consumers' wallets and purses, not all 10 will be developers. Some one (or more -- more likely) will surely be responsible for making sure the consumer knows just how much s/he wants, needs, and will find joy, peace, and happiness with the newest *version* of the product, whatever the version moniker.
